New cartoon theme.

I’m trying a new cartoon theme.
The media microphone goes everywhere to everything.
Even to places or things it shouldn’t go, or at least, was preferred by some if it didn’t go.
Not sure how this theme will develop, it may even catch the eye of an Editor.

This one on the mythical mandates which appear after every election.

  1. Nailed it with this one Mick. Top marks! I sincerely hope it catches the eye of some Editor and you’re on your way to fame and fortune.
    🙂

    • Thanks Edward. If only I had a crystal ball (or similar) which could see inside Editors heads. They’re hard to crack the code with.
I think I stand a better chance with tonight’s lotto numbers.
      Cheers
      Mick

      • Indeed they are Mick. When you look at the success of ‘First Dog on the Moon’ in the Guardian, and that of the cartoonist (whose name escapes me at the moment) at the New Matilda, it really does puzzle me why you haven’t been picked up. Keep plugging the new format is great and allows you a greater scope – more work to put it together though I guess. 🙂 Should the hardworking staff at the post have any luck with Lotto, you’ll be first cab off the rank.

        • My Lotto = fail

No real puzzle, MSM Editors, mostly nice people, but under pressure on the job and hard to convince to make change.
All jobs I’ve had in the past have been “right place at the right time”.

New Matilda = Lindsay Foyle and Fiona Katauskas

  2. I’d say you’re off to a great start!

  3. Cartoons like this make me giggle, as well as making me groan about the reality they depict. Great job Mick, I look forward to more from Media Mic.
